OUR STORY
Over a period of time in 2008 to 2009, we were made aware of the many millions of dollars that were being donated to charities on a monthly basis within the United States -- in the form of vehicles of all kinds. Through much investigation, we were initially "shocked" to conclude that there existed a gross lack of ethical and moral transparency throughout the majority of the vehicle donation industry. There are no federal or state laws governing the "generosity" or "common sense morality" of individual vehicle donation companies. By using extremely aggressive mass media marketing, many of the companies in the industry actually are operating as "for profit" corporations, disguised as legal non-profit corporations. Consequently, we made a conscious decision to form a 501(c)(3) non-profit vehicle donation organization -- with total transparency -- thus developing a genuine feeling of trust and credibility. Most of all, we donate as much as possible to the chosen charities, thus helping as many groups and / or individuals who are in need. Even though we concentrate on various Catholic / Christian charities and organizations such as the fraternal organization(s), we want to be a viable benefactor to any and all worthy and needy charities!
So now we are here successfully embarking on a national program with a serious moral and ethical 501(c)(3) foundation! We are continually proving that Ave Maria Catholic Vehicle Donations is the perfect partner to act as a facilitator or conduit for a very worthy cause.
